Sara Cooper – Creative Designer

Hi there, Sara here, lead lighting designer for illumin8. Today and from as far back as 2010 I have been pouring myself into designing lighting layouts and light fitting specification for people who are passionate about quality, New Zealand made products.

Lighting design was not a career I had considered, definitely didn’t discover it from college, what I did discover is a deep, distracting enjoyment of Art, Graphics and Design, Speech and Drama… oh, and Metal Work was pretty good too. I am certain I didn’t know Lighting Design even existed until being asked to start up and run a lighting shop for the electrical wholesale company I had been working with, from 2009 til 2012.
